Andrew Burton

Andrew Burton is a lawyer focusing on criminal defence litigation for Burton Criminal Law.


Biography

Andrew practices exclusively in criminal defence litigation. He has practiced in Niagara for over 10 years.

Andrew graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science, Double major in Biology and Political Science. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He was called to the bar in 2009.

Andrew is a Board Member of the Lincoln County Law Association and he is a member of The Criminal Lawyer’s Association. Andrew is also the Local Representative for the Niagara Criminal Defence Bar in St. Catharines. He volunteers as a coach and judge with the Ontario Justice Education Network in the Competitive Mock Trial tournament for Niagara area high schools.

He is on the Legal Aid Panel for: Criminal Law, Gladue, and Extremely Serious Matters.

Andrew provides a high level of client service and makes himself available to his clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
